This course will help chiropractic physicians understand brain wave training (neurofeedback) and how using neurofeedback can complement the body-mind approach chiropractic care is known for, thereby enhancing patient healthcare outcomes.

Specific Learning objectives:

Based on the content of this presentation, the participant will be able to:

  • Explain the basic concept(s) of neurofeedback.
  • Describe why neurofeedback could be beneficial for inclusion in practice.
  • State several health challenges can be helped with neurofeedback that align with chiropractic principles and practice.
  • Summarize how the process of neurofeedback helps improve brain and body function.
 You will receive an email containing the link to join the webinar before the event. Please ensure that you test your access to Zoom at least two hours before the webinar begins.

    Karl R.O.S. Johnson, DC, BCN
    Dr. Karl R.O.S. Johnson earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport) in 1983. He was awarded BCIA board certification in neurofeedback in 2018. He is a Certified Graduate of the American Functional Neurology Institute. Dr. Johnson blends qEEG guided neurofeedback, nutritional strategies, functional neurology procedures, photobiomodulation, PEMF and chiropractic care in his practice. His Shelby Township facility, Michigan Brain Health, uses an individualized, comprehensive whole-body-mind approach that seeks to optimize brain and body function for improved performance in daily life. His focus on helping patients learn to regulate their own brainwaves coordinates well with chiropractic care and results in reduced chronic pain, improved focus and attention, reduced anxiousness, depression and sleep challenges. Dr. Johnson also authored the book, Reclaim Your Life; Your Guide to Revealing Your Body’s Life Changing Secrets for Renewed Health.
