Instructor:
Debi Elliott, LPC, BCB, BCN
Course description: Psychedelics are making their second debut as a mental health treatment modality and are primed to revolutionize psychotherapy this decade. The history of psychedelics and the therapeutic outcomes and different types of psychedelics are presented. Case studies including brain mapping, using neurofeedback as a part of integration and low dose ketamine neurofeedback are shared. Ketamine assisted psychotherapy is currently the first and only legal option. Additionally, this past November, Colorado voters decriminalized plant medicines. Debi Elliott presents a unique perspective on the use of this potent psychoactive prescription drug through the lens of a brain and breathing specialist along with her deep insights into the healing and mind-altering properties of ketamine.
